Typical box covers are so… bleh. Not artistic at all. Of course, I can understand. Publishing companies need to sell their games, and they need box covers that’ll catch the eyes of the public. As such, they look okay, but it’s not always… well, pretty.
Thankfully, I’m not the only person that feels this way. Many people have taken it into their hands to make their own box covers, and a lot of them are really good. I picked out some of my favorite covers, but there’s plenty more on the sites I’ll list at the end of this post, and simple if you just surf the web. I hope you enjoy these “less bleh” covers (and by less bleh, I mean super awesome)!

This cover is nice because it creatively shows one of the most recognizable aspects of the game.
It's simple, clean, and you can tell exactly what game this is.
The original Katamari cover is nice as well, but this one is cute and has a nice little "joke" in it.
This IS what Donkey Kong Country is about, right? Right...?
I think this cover would fit the style of the game more than the actual box art does.
This cover reminds of the stylized retro look... it almost looks like something outts the 60's or 70's.

This one takes a bit more of a vauge approach... it makes it really interesting to look at.

Well, this is what WiiFit is supposed to do. It's just a little too... edgy to put on an actual cover. Might make people mad.
